The Laurent-Perrier Brut is unmistakably ‘Laurent-Perrier’, it embodies the House style: deliciously fresh, light and elegant. These essential characteristics, expressed in all our champagnes, are a good introduction to the spirit of Champagne Laurent-Perrier. It is the signature champagne. The high proportion of Chardonnay grape (50%), which is a particularly large proportion, is double the average in most champagnes creating the beautiful pale gold colour and steady flow of fine and persistent bubbles. The Laurent-Perrier Brut benefits from ideal ageing in the cellars: three years minimum for a 75cl bottle. Its balance and natural crispness are enhanced by a light dosage. After the dosage, the wines are kept in the cellar to rest for several months before shipment. The result is a well defined, subtly rounded with expressive flavours. The fruit progressively emerges to reveal a finely balanced champagne displaying great length on the finish. The combination of freshness and purity has been a major factor in the Laurent-Perrier Brut’s success as an apéritif for a special celebration or a versatile match for an array of refined dishes, including fish, white meat and poultry. Its citrus and white fruit notes – such as vine peach – and its remarkable balance supported by subtle bubbles make it the perfect companion for the finer moments in life. A true vin de plaisir.
