Explore new heights of gastronomy with Champagne Laurent-Perrier at this year’s London Restaurant Festival

The gastronomic feast continues to celebrate the capital’s most exciting restaurants and eclectic cuisine. As the champagne sponsor, Laurent-Perrier will be offering three Gourmet Odyssey experiences including a journey of new heights at The Shard.

Gourmet Odyssey The Shard:
On Saturday 19th October, climb aboard for a gastronomic journey guaranteed to transport taste buds to new heights. Having opened in February 2013, and boasting some impressive dining spots, The Shard is the place to experience culinary excellence in London, while enjoying breath-taking sky-high panoramas of the city. Laurent-Perrier has partnered with Atrium, Hutong and Aqua to provide a three-course dining experience all within this one destination venue.

Guests will be invited to settle into their surroundings, with a Laurent-Perrier champagne reception at the Atrium Bar on the 31st floor, before being whisked up to Hutong on the 33rd floor, specialising in Northern Chinese cuisine, to enjoy a starter course. The main course is served back down a couple of floors in Aqua, on the 31st floor, before finishing with the famed Atrium afternoon tea for dessert.

For those who are unsure of heights, Laurent-Perrier is offering two further opportunities to enjoy Gourmet Odyssey journeys. Guests will enjoy a champagne reception followed by a starter, main and dessert course across a variety of top London restaurants. Each dish will be paired with a different champagne ensuring all aboard get to experience the Brut, Ultra Brut, Cuvée Rosé and Demi Sec offerings from the Laurent-Perrier range.

Gourmet Odyssey Discovery Tour:
Guests departing on the Gourmet Odyssey Discovery tour on the 5th October will commence their journey at Bar Chop Shop, before moving to Gymkhana, via the Social Eating House and Picture.

Gourmet Odyssey The Masters:
Those aboard The Masters tour will commence on the12th October at Bar Benares before moving on to Wild Honey in Mayfair and finishing at Gauthier Soho.

The annual celebration of the capital’s restaurants and chefs will continue its commitment to providing hundreds of exciting festival menus across the city and will once again be serving up a schedule of extraordinary events to meet a whole range of tastes and budgets.
